Woodshop----Woodshop Logo.JPG

Monday-Friday 9am-12pm

The Woodshop is open to Rolling Meadows residents and non-residents who have a Senior Center membership. The Woodshop is equipped with table saws, band saws (including a Laguna band saw capable of cross-cutting logs), a joiner, a planer, drum and table sanders, lathe, routing table, and the power and hand tools needed for both new and experienced woodworkers to turn their woodworking idea into a reality in a climate and dust controlled environment. The Woodshop volunteer staff provides helpful advice on how to use the equipment safely and execute master woodworking techniques.

Gift Shop

The Gift Shop items may be purchased at any time during the week at the Senior Center Office from 9:00am-4:00pm. In order to sell items in the Gift Shop, you must be a member of GYC. Seniors interested in selling items in our gift shop will give the Golden Years Council 30% commission on their sales.
