Shannon McNamara Memorial 5K Run/Walk

Put on your running—or walking—shoes and wear a costume for the Shannon McNamara Memorial 5K. Held annually each Sunday before Halloween, the event is set for October 27 at 8:30am starting at Rolling Meadows High School, 2901 Central Road. Proceeds benefit the Shannon McNamara Scholarship Fund and the Rolling Meadows Park Foundation Scholarship Fund. The event includes a kids fun run and costume contest for participants and pets.

Race Day Instructions:
Park in the Rolling Meadows High School front parking lot. The starting line for runners will be near the RMHS marquee by the main entrance of the school on Central Rd. Walkers will begin at the stop sign (in the driveway) nearest the school buildings Northeast side. 5k runners will go off at 9am while 2 mile walkers will begin 5 minutes after. The 400m kids race (10 years old and under) on the track will begin after the conclusion of the 5k race/2m walk!
Costume Contest:
Best costume prizes for kids and adults (pets too)
Race day registration and packet pick-up opens at 8am day of the event.
