oin us in celebrating Veteran’s Day. Co-author Cyndee Schaffer* of “Mollie’s War: The Letters of a World War II WAC in Europe” discusses her mother’s experience in the Women’s Army Corps. Mollie Weinstein Schaffer joined the military to serve our country and journeyed to Europe to labor for an important cause while experiencing the adventures of a lifetime. Her story documents the human side of life during the war, alternating between fear and romance, exhaustion, and leisure. Lunch is included.
