Take a stroll down the trail at Community Center Park and you might encounter a ghost or ghoul along the way!

Spooky Story Path is set for Friday, October 22 from 5-8pm outside the Community Center, 3705 Pheasant Drive. The event includes trick-or-treating, hayrides, Halloween-themed scenes and a craft. Stations will be located along the path featuring interactive stories every 15 minutes. Participants can choose their storytelling timeslot upon registration. Earlier times from 5-6:30pm will be geared toward younger children, with a “spookier” theme planned for later in the evening.

“The walking path through Community Center Park along the creek offers the perfect Halloween setting,” said Recreation Supervisor Kailey Schwartzhoff. “We’re especially excited about the hayrides and stories. Whether you choose the earlier time or decide to go ‘spookier’ with a later timeslot, this will be a fun and memorable family event for all ages.”

Cost is $5 per person. For more information or to register, visit rmparks.org
