Celebrate the New Countryside Park Playground

The community is invited to officially welcome the new playground at Countryside Park!

Set for 6-7pm Tuesday, September 24, the event will feature free popsicles, with a ribbon cutting taking place at 6:30pm.

Completed in July, the playground includes the state’s first Quito geometric net climber, along with friendship swings for families, a playhouse for imaginative play, and a mini climbing structure for smaller children.

Chosen by children during a Community Input Meeting in February, the new playground replaced more than 20-year-old equipment at Countryside Park, located at 4360 Euclid Avenue.
