Pack the Park with Rolling Meadows Park District

Rolling Meadows Park District is inviting the community to "pack" local parks this summer with a series of free family events featuring Popsicles, outdoor games and a variety of activities for all ages.

Presented by Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers, Pack the Park is set for 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 15, at Waverly Park, 2202 Oak Lane. The first Pack the Park event of the year took place in May at North Salk Park. A third event is planned for Thursday, July 20 in Countryside Park.

In addition to games and activities, attendees will have a chance to meet members of the Rolling Meadows Park District Board of Commissioners and other park district leadership.

"We started hosting our Pack the Park series last year as a way to encourage families to head outdoors and explore the different parks we offer," said Rolling Meadows Park District Executive Director Kevin Romejko. "Pack the Park was an immediate hit and has continued to grow in popularity. We look forward to hosting this next event in Waverly Park and giving the public a chance to not only play and connect with others, but share questions and input with park district leaders."
