South Salk Park

This community park is located behind the Nelson Sports Complex. South Salk Park has lit baseball/softball fields (McKenzie Field), a basketball court, and a picnic area. The playground at South Salk Park was updated in 2009 to make it a fully accessible ADA compliant playground geared for children ages 6 -12. The two-story Sky Builders equipment, as well as the double climbing rock is a big hit with the kids in the community. The bike path through South Salk Park is linked to the Rolling Meadows bike trail system.
