The Grove Fitness Studio is home to the newly renovated Pilates Reformer studio, formerly Fitness Arts, as well as other mat group fitness classes including mat Pilates, yoga and Zumba. Pilates reformer classes are limited to a maximum of 4 students to ensure proper attention and focus on perfect alignment as well as accurate bio-mechanics. Our classes optimize functional movement whether you want to tone your muscles, increase flexibility, recover from an injury or simply maximize efficiency in day-to-day function.

Yoga
All yoga classes are session-based classes, click on the links to register for the next session.Chair Yoga
Chair yoga allows you to enjoy the benefits of yoga, like increased flexibility, balance, strength, overall health and relaxation without having to sit on the floor. These exercises are gentle and can be done by almost anyone. Optional standing poses using the chair for balance and stability will be offered.Yin Yoga
If you are interested in yoga, but believe that traditional yoga may be too difficult for you, come give Yin Yoga a try. Yin Yoga is a slow-paced yoga style in which fewer and more passive floor poses are held for longer periods of time with the focus of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility.Beginner Traditional Yoga
This class includes basic breathing exercises and a variety of foundational postures. Participants must be able to get down to and up from the floor. This is a great class for beginners and anyone interested in exploring a gentle practice. A yoga mat is required and a block and strap are recommended.Vinyasa Yoga
This class is designed to focus on alignment through the holding of poses, to engage muscles, build strength and stamina, improve flexibility and balance as well as improving concentration. Portions of the class will also use vinyasa techniques to develop integrations of breath and movement.Intermediate Traditional Yoga
Take your yoga practice to the next level in our intermediate yoga class. This class includes basic breathing exercises and a variety of foundational postures. Participants must be able to get up and down from the floor. A yoga mat is required and a block and strap are recommended.Yoga-Somatic Movement (Satya)
Somatic Movement (SATYA) is a style of movement done laying on the floor. The exercises are non-weight bearing and involved sliding, gliding and circular movements. These movements will balance the body structure, reduce myofascial holding, reduce fatigue and boost immunity.Hatha Yoga with Liz
